How the Locker Space app handles your information. We collect little, we don’t sell it, and you’re in control.
What the app is for
The Locker Space app lets a parent or guardian see their child’s school locker code, manage their locker and receive occasional offers and renewal reminders. Sign-in is by an invite link or code issued by Locker Space — there is no public sign-up.
What we hold
Your name, email and mobile number; your child’s first name, their locker number and its access code; and the 4-digit PIN you choose to reveal that code. These come from your locker booking with your school. If you request a booking in the app we also take the details you enter on that form.
Your PIN
The PIN you set is stored only as a secure one-way hash — we cannot read it back. It is used solely to unlock your locker code inside the app, and the reveal is rate-limited to protect it.
Children’s information
The app is for the parent or guardian to use — it is not aimed at children and children do not sign in. We keep the information about your child to the minimum needed to show you their locker: their first name, locker number and code.
How your data is used
To show you your locker code, to manage your locker booking and renewal, and to send you service messages and relevant offers about your Locker Space locker. That’s it.
We do not sell your data
Your personal information is never sold, and it is not shared with advertisers. We do not use advertising trackers, and the app does not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored on our managed database and hosting (Supabase and Vercel), encrypted in transit and at rest. We only use processors needed to run the service.
Deleting your data
You can delete your app data at any time from the app (Account → Delete my app data). This removes your PIN and app sign-in. Your underlying locker booking is managed by your school — to cancel the locker itself, contact your school or Locker Space.
Your rights & contact
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to erase it. Email hello@lockerspace.co.uk and we will help.
